This is DOU Studio’s original interpretation of childhood Griffith — subtitled Lost — rendered as a barefoot boy in worn, oversized clothes, standing still on a rubble-strewn base with a red-tipped cord resting at his collar. At 40 cm tall in imported resin and PU, the sculpt’s defining achievement is the face: wide, glassy blue eyes carrying an expression caught somewhere between longing and dissociation, framed by meticulously textured silver-white curls. An edition of forty pieces means this will not reappear on the primary market.

This piece captures Griffith before ambition hardened into certainty — the boy who already carried a dream too large for his circumstances, dressed in rags, standing on broken ground as if the world beneath him was never fully solid. What DOU Studio emphasizes here is the interior life: the slightly parted lips, the upward cast of those pale blue eyes, and the unsettled stillness of the pose all point to a child suspended in longing rather than action. The red-tipped cord at his throat reads as an early symbol of the chains his own dream would eventually become.
