QiChen Studio’s Childhood Fern — Forest Mushroom Gathering captures a young Fern mid-errand in the autumn forest, her oversized black mage’s cloak nearly swallowing her small frame as she clutches a wicker basket brimming with freshly picked mushrooms. Standing 15 cm tall with a limited run of just 88 pieces, the sculpt earns its footprint through the contrast between the cloak’s deep gloss finish and the warm, hand-painted texture of the woven basket and mushroom caps. At this edition size, it reads less as a shelf-filler and more as a deliberate, intimate portrait of a character moment that most pieces skip entirely.
