CHARACTER ORIGIN
Reiner Braun and Bertolt Hoover are central figures in Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan, introduced as fellow cadets of the 104th Training Corps before their true identities as the Armored and Colossal Titans are revealed. This piece captures the pivotal confrontation in Trost District — the moment Reiner, with quiet devastation, drops the pretense entirely and declares himself a Warrior, pressing his hand to his ear as Bertolt stands resolute at his side. It is one of the series' most emotionally shattering scenes: two people who genuinely cared for their comrades choosing, irrevocably, to become the enemy.
