ABOUT
Dreammaker Studio’s entry in their Nostalgia Series captures Byakko Ryujinmaru alongside Wataru Ikusabe in a full-combat diorama — the white-and-navy mecha wielding the White Tiger Dragon Sword above a surging glacial base, with Wataru himself rendered at scale in front. At roughly 53 × 50 × 54 cm and limited to 128 pieces, the piece is built from a PU, imported resin, and metal composite that gives the sharp tiger-stripe paneling and gold crown detailing the structural rigidity this silhouette demands. For collectors who grew up with Chou Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru, this is the form that rarely gets the large-format GK treatment — and Dreammaker’s scale makes the wait count.

SCENE NOTES
Byakko Ryujinmaru is Ryujinmaru’s 5th Super Transformation, achieved after obtaining the blue Tiger Magatama — and the power was gifted by the Glacier Tiger, the Holy Sage of Soukaizan’s 5th realm, after he acknowledged Wataru for their value of friendship. That moment of earned trust is exactly what Dreammaker frames here: Wataru stands forward on the glacial base, small against the towering mecha behind him, the two rendered as a unified force rather than pilot and machine. The form’s white base with navy razor stripes and ice-elemental identity translates directly into the base design — shattered glacier terrain, iridescent white tiger relief, and gold energy veins running through the ice — while the mecha above locks into a weapon-drawn stance that reads as mid-transformation rather than static display. The Glacier Tiger sculpted into the base ties the sacred beast’s blessing visually back into the composition, grounding the whole piece in the specific lore beat rather than generic action.
