ABOUT
MUSES Studio renders Grunbeld at 1/6 scale in the stillness that precedes annihilation — human form, battle-worn plate armor layered with authentic weathering and blood, commanding a diorama base strewn with shattered weapons and fallen soldiers. Two head sculpts let you choose between cold authority and quiet menace. The battlefield gore and surface detail work here demand close inspection; this is a piece that rewards the collector who looks twice.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
Grunbeld is one of the most formidable members of Griffith's reborn Band of the Falcon in Kentaro Miura's Berserk, an Apostle whose human form already commands the battlefield with overwhelming physical presence before his true nature is ever revealed. Among the Apostles, he stands apart as a genuine warrior — a knight of legendary reputation even before the Eclipse — whose pride and power are inseparable. This statue captures him precisely in that chilling human-form moment during his confrontation with Guts: composed, dominant, surrounded by the wreckage of those who came before, the calm on his face more unsettling than any roar.
