ABOUT
Bathing Yidhari Murphy captures the Octopus Thiren fully at rest — reclined in a lavender-toned tub, foam spilling over her figure, her signature purple tentacles curling over the rim while a small octopus companion nestles in the suds beside her. At 1/6 scale, YaoMengMeng Studio delivers the piece in imported resin and imported PU, with the sculptural foam rendered in layered, organic texture that reads convincingly from every angle. For collectors who want Yidhari outside of combat, this is the only version of her that exists in this register.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
SCENE NOTESThe bath is one of Yidhari's two established personal sanctuaries — a private ritual she uses to quiet the relentless flood of memories and sensory noise that defines her day-to-day existence. YaoMengMeng Studio builds the entire piece around that stillness: the reclined pose is deliberately unhurried, her expression carrying a soft, slightly mischievous warmth rather than the weight she carries in combat. The tentacles, rather than reading as threatening, drape and curl over the tub's edge in a way that feels natural and unguarded — the most relaxed version of a character who is rarely either. The small octopus companion tucked into the foam and the iridescent bubble piece reinforce the playful, private quality of the moment without undercutting the craftsmanship of the sculpt itself.
