CHARACTER ORIGIN
<p>Rei Ayanami is the enigmatic First Child and pilot of Evangelion Unit-00 in Hideaki Anno's Neon Genesis Evangelion. Quiet, seemingly emotionless, and deeply intertwined with the mysteries of NERV, her true nature as a vessel connected to the Angel Lilith is one of the series' most haunting revelations. This statue draws on that duality — Rei composed and serene in her plugsuit while perched atop visceral, Angel-like flesh — capturing the moment the line between human pilot and something far more unknowable dissolves entirely.</p>
